and licensed through Loyola Medical Center with the Illinois Department of Public Health and have APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator I certification.

All Communications Training Officers (CTO) have their APCO CTO certification.

WSCDC is the primary dispatch center for MABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) Division 11 and is a recognized Call Center Partner with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Missing Kids Readiness Project.

All Telecommunicators are certified Emergency Medical Dispatchers with Priority Dispatch, Inc.

Although their 9-1-1 calls are answered at the Consolidated 9-1-1 Center, Folly Beach Public Safety withdrew their participation and maintain their own Dispatch Center from which they dispatch the 9-1-1 calls transferred to them.

December 2016 Letter From the Police and Fire Chiefs | January 31 Public Meeting Presentation | Send Us Your Questions The City is proud of its exceptional 911/dispatching services, however advances in technology and the increasing use of cellular phones are negatively impacting how efficiently we can dispatch Police, Fire and EMS units to emergency calls for service.On April 9th, 2012 the City of Richland Hills consolidated it's dispatch center with the city of North Richland Hills.In the following months, Haltom City and Watauga joined the consolidation.The Bayside Communications Center provides dispatch services for Bayside, Brown Deer, Fox Point, Glendale, River Hills, the North Shore Fire Department, Shorewood, and Whitefish Bay.The Bayside Communications Center consolidated the two North Shore dispatch centers into one, located in Bayside, and services the seven North Shore communities for police and fire dispatch services.The four communities will be utilizing the Village of Glenview’s Consolidated Dispatch Center but calls will still be personally answered for each Village Kenilworth Police Department administrative personnel will answer the administrative phones and be available for walk in guests at the police front desk Monday through Friday from a.m. All other hours, the administrative phone calls will automatically forward to the consolidated dispatch center.
